The Felton Family Line

Nine generations, from the immigrant ancestor Nathaniel Felton, who sailed from England to Salem in 1633, down to Martha Irene “Mattie” Felton, whose marriage to William Henry Boguhn joins this line to the Boguhn family.

England to Salem, inland to Marlborough, then west to Michigan - Allegan County and finally Port Huron.

    The family’s origin, before Nathaniel Felton crossed the Atlantic.

  2. Salem, Massachusetts

    Nathaniel Felton settled here in 1633; the family remained for three generations.

  3. Marlborough, Massachusetts

    Jacob Felton (Gen. 4) moved the family inland; the line stayed through Gen. 6.

  4. Allegan County, Michigan

    George Felton (Gen. 7) carried the family west to Michigan.

  5. Port Huron, Michigan

    George Felton (Gen. 8) settled in Port Huron, where the line met the Boguhn family.
